Wake and funeral for Mr. William Brown, retired NYPD Detective and World War II veteran
June 16, 2016 @ 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
Mr. William Brown, a retired NYPD Detective and World War II veteran, passed away last month at the age of 95.
Mr. Brown died with no friends and family by his side and was discovered by his only close friends, the officers of the NYPD’s 113 Precinct who befriended him over the winter and arranged for proper heating in his residence, cared for him, and even escorted him to doctors’ appointments.
The officers are arranging for his services and funeral. Mr. Brown passed away alone, but he doesn’t have to make his final journey alone.
If you can join the officers to honor this brave man, please do.
