9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Volunteers Needed for Toy Donation Drive and Delivery – Mini Horse Heroes – formerly the Police Officer Ken Tietjen Memorial Foundation

The Mini Horse Heroes – formerly the Police Officer Ken Tietjen Memorial Foundation — is collecting new, unopened toys and educational items for New Jersey children in need. In addition to collecting toys, they need assistance on Sunday, February 18, 2018 from 11:00am until 5:00pm carrying the toys inside, organizing, inventorying and delivering.
Everyone is welcome to volunteer for this event – there is no age limit.

Port Authority Police Officer Kenneth Tietjen was killed while helping others during the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. The charity started by his family continues his tradition of helping children in his community.
