Virtual Screening of “Chief” to support the FDNY Mand Library

October 28, 2021

The FDNY Foundation will hold a special National First Responders’ Day screening of the film Chief, a new short film about First Deputy Fire Commissioner William Feehan, who was killed in the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center. The film will be shown all day on Thursday, October 28, 2021, which is known as National First Responders’ Day.

The screening is free, but donations toward the library are requested.

The George F. Mand Library is a valuable resource for firefighters worldwide and for historians. It is located at the FDNY Bureau of Training on Randall’s Island.
