9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Come to the Heartworks House for a flag ceremony twice a day at 8:00am and 4:00pm every day of Veterans’ Week, from Monday, November 5, 2018, 8:00am until Friday, November 9, 2018, 4:00pm.
Bring your family and friends to show our veterans how much they are appreciated.
Heartworks was created after the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 by the family of John William Farrell in gratitude for the kindnesses shown to them after John was killed in the attack. John, 41, worked for Sandler O’Neill in Tower 2 of the World Trade Center.
