LAST CHANCE TO VOTE – Tribute Center docent Jim Giaccone a finalist for NASCAR Foundation’s Betty Jane France Humanitarian Award
July 14, 2016 @ 8:00 am - September 26, 2016 @ 5:00 pm
The 9/11 Tribute Center is very proud that our own volunteer Jim Giaccone is one of four finalists for the NASCAR Foundation’s Betty Jane France Humanitarian Award for the work he has done as a volunteer mentor with our good friends at Tuesday’s Children.
Jim has been a well-loved Tribute Center docent for many years. His beautiful and heartfelt tours honor his elder brother, Joseph Michael Giaccone, who was killed in the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center. Joe worked near the top of the North Tower at Cantor Fitzgerald.
Jim has been a mentor to boys who lost their fathers in the attacks for years, giving time and love to children who need it.
