9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Town of Gander 9/11 Commemoration Service – Gander, Canada and online

To commemorate the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, the Town of Gander will host a Commemoration Service on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 2:00pm.
The service will honour the lives lost in the 9/11 terrorist attacks, pay tribute to first responders, and commemorate the friendships made and bonds formed in Central Newfoundland during that time.
There will be performances by local entertainers and remarks from special guests.
Tickets will not be available at the door. Only advance sales are permitted.
Tickets are available beginning Thursday, September 2, 2021 at 9:00am. Please call 709-651-5927 on weekdays from 8:30am–4:00pm. A maximum of 4 tickets can be reserved per person. Due to anticipated call volumes, please be patient and call back if there is no answer. Please do not leave a voicemail.
