9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Tomb of the Unknown Soldier Centennial Commemoration Public Flower Ceremony – Arlington, VA

In honor of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier’s centennial commemoration, there will be a public flower ceremony at the Tomb on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 and Wednesday, November 10, 2021 with flower placement from 9:00am until 4:00pm.
Complimentary flowers will be given to those who wish to walk on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier Plaza and pay their respects by placing a flower at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
This is a rare opportunity for the public to walk next to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, a privilege only given to the Sentinels of the 3rd U.S. Infantry Regiment, “The Old Guard.”
The event will take place rain or shine.
Trams will be available free of charge in order to assist participants in reaching the Memorial Amphitheater to participate in the ceremony.
Historians will be on site to answer questions and provide interpretative discussions for everyone.
