9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Terror reporter Souad Mekhennet to speak

On Monday, November 13, 2017 at 1:30pm, Souad Mekhennet of the Washington Post will speak at the Central Queens Y.
Mekhennet, who is a Muslim of Arab and German descent, will discuss the many interviews she has had with ISIS, Taliban and al Qaeda members and discuss the radicalization of young European Muslims.
She will also discuss her new book, I Was Told to Come Alone: A Muslim Reporter Tells Her Story, Behind the Lines of Jihad.
The talk is free, though there is a suggested $8.00 donation.
