9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Bugles across America will once again commemorate the anniversary of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 by arranging for buglers nationwide to play Taps at the 4 moments of impact of the 4 hijacked planes.
At 8:46am, American Airlines Flight 11 was flown into Tower 1 of theWorldTradeCenter. United Airlines Flight 175 was flown into Tower 2 at 9:03am.
Hijacked American Airlines Flight 77 was driven into the Pentagon at 9:37am. United Airlines Flight 93 crashed near Shanksville, Pennsylvaniaat 10:03am after the crew and passengers fought back against the hijackers.
