9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Robert M. Gates will give a talk about his service as Secretary of Defense from 2006 to 2011 and discuss his new book, Duty: Memoirs of a Secretary at War on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at 6:30pm at the New-York Historical Society.
