9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Superintendent of Western Pennsylvania National Park Service to speak re Flight 93 Memorial

Stephen M. Clark, superintendent of the Western Pennsylvania National Park Service sites, will host the first State of the Parks program on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Somerset Area High School.

He will discuss recent news about five local National Park Service sites — the Flight 93 National Memorial, the Johnstown Flood National Memorial, Fort Necessity National Battlefield Friendship Hill National Historic Site, and Allegheny Portage Railroad National Historic Site.

Topics to be covered will include the Flight 93 National Memorial Tower of Voices. Mr. Clark will also tell attendees about upcoming special events, new exhibits, construction, and educational programs at local parks. Visitation trends for all of the featured parks will also be discussed.

This event is open to the public.
