9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Sunset Remembrance Ceremony & Candlelight Vigil, E. Meadow, NY

This year’s candlelight vigil and Remembrance Ceremony will be held at 6:30pm on Sunday, September 8, 2013. The ceremony will take place in the Lakeside Theatre adjacent to the September 11th Memorial in Eisenhower Park.
Family members will read the names of the Nassau County residents killed in the terrorist attacks.
Immediately following the Remembrance Ceremony, the candlelight vigil will begin at the September 11th Memorial.
