9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Sunset Candlelight Remembrance Ceremony Nassau County, NY

The annual Sunset Candlelight Remembrance Ceremony to remember those lost on September 11, 2001 will take place on Thursday, September 6, 2012 at 7:00pm at the 9/11 Memorial in Eisenhower Park, near Parking Field 6.
Names of Nassau County residents who lost their lives in the attacks will be read by family members at Lakeside Theatre, adjacent to Nassau County’s 9/11 Memorial in Eisenhower Park.
