Suicide – a Fire Service-Specific Webinar

On Thursday, February 23, 2017 at 1:00pm EST, Lexipol will present a webinar on firefighter suicide with FDNY Captain Frank Leto of the FDNY Counseling Unit and Safe Call Now’s founder Sean Riley for in the hope of reducing the number of firefighters who take their own lives.
Topics to be discussed include what we know – and don’t know – about firefighter suicide rates; contributing factors to firefighter mental and emotional health issues; and specific ways firefighters, officers, chiefs and retirees can help reduce firefighter suicides.
