9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Stephen Ward Memorial 5-K in Afghanistan

The Stephen Ward Memorial 5-K is going to have a 5-K event that takes place in Afghanistan on September 11, 2012.
All participants will be members of the US Armed Forces.
The race will take place at FOB (Forward Operating Base) Finley-Shields Jalalabad, Nangarhar, Afghanistan.
The unit hosting the 5K is 2d Platoon, C Co. 1 Bn, 143d Infantry (Airborne) Provincial Reconstruction Team Nangarhar. Other units on the FOB that may also participate include the 4th Infantry Division and the 101st Airborne USAF.
