9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Solidarity Creche unveiling reception

The Italian Cultural Foundation will host a reception to unveil the Solidarity Creche on Sunday, December 14, 2014 at 3:00pm at their headquarters at Casa Belvedere in Staten Island.

The cost to attend the reception is $35.00, but viewing the Creche is free from the time of the unveiling through mid-January. The reception cost includes food and wine.

The Solidarity Creche (Il Presepio Della Solidariet) was presented to the FDNY by the Naples Chamber of Commerce in December 2001. It is an elaborate, 150-piece Nativity scene in which the Three Kings are holding fire helmets marked “9”, “11” and “01” to honor those murdered in the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.
The Solidarity Creche moves each year to different parts of the city. It can be viewed at Casa Belvedere through the middle of January.
