9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Smithsonian September 11th special exhibit – Washington, D.C.

The Smithsonian National Museum of American History will show a one-day exhibit on Sunday, September 11, 2016 to mark the anniversary of the 2001 terrorist attacks.

The museum will display roughly 35 artifacts from the attacks, including the flight logbook of United Flight 93 Flight Attendant Lorraine Bay, a clock that stopped when Flight 77 struck the Pentagon, and a stairwell sign from the 102nd floor of the World Trade Center on September 11, 20016 from 11:00am to 4:00pm. The artifacts will be out on tables so that visitors may see them closely, though touching them is not permitted.
