9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Seminar: Scott Shane — “American on the Kill List”

The last seminar of the John Jay Center on Terrorism series will take place on Friday, April 15, 2016, from 3:00pm to 5:00pm in Room L2.84 of John Jay’s New Building.

The speaker will be Scott Shane, a national security reporter in the Washington bureau of The New York Times, who will discuss his new book, Objective Troy: A Terrorist, A President and the Rise of the Drone.

The book looks at the life and death of the late American-born terrorist Anwar al-Awlaki, who was killed in a drone strike in Yemen in 2011.

Shane has also written on various national security issues.
