9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. See Dyker Heights Christmas lights & support Rally for Rocco

Visit the spectacular Christmas lights on 84th Street between 11th & 12th Avenues in Dyker Heights between Friday, December 19, 2014 and Tuesday, December 23, 2014 and help the severely disabled son of a September 11th recovery worker by doing so.
Traditionally visitors to the display leave a donation. Funds donated go to a different worthy cause each year. This year, all donations collected between December 19 and December 23 will be donated to Rally for Rocco.
Rocco Morabito was born on December 30, 2011 and immediately suffered from hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy and catastrophic brain damage. He is not expected ever to see, walk, speak or breathe without help.
Rocco’s parents are Laura and John Morabito. John is an active member of the FDNY who survived the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. At the time, he worked at 10 House, the nearest firehouse to the Towers. John spent months at the recovery operation. The Morabito home was also badly damaged in Hurricane Sandy.
