9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Peter C. Alderman Annual Benefit Dinner

The annual benefit dinner for the Peter C. Alderman Foundation will be held at the Pierre Hotel in New York City on Monday, April 28, 2014 at 6:30pm.

This year’s winner of the Peter C. Alderman Humanitarian Award is former child soldier and author Ishmael Beah. The Sarlo Foundation Leadership Award will go to Dr. James Okello, a child psychiatrist with the Peter C. Alderman Trauma Clinic in Gulu, Uganda.

The ticket price is $500.00. Tickets are available here. All proceeds benefit the work of the Peter C. Alderman Foundation, which trains indigenous mental health workers and establishes trauma treatment systems for terrorism and mass violence survivors worldwide.

Peter C. Alderman was 25 and attending the Risk Waters conference atop Tower 1 when he was murdered by terrorists on September 11, 2001.
