9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. A QUOTE FROM RACE ORGANIZERS IN LIGHT OF THE BOSTON MARATHON BOMBS — “Our first-ever 9/11 Memorial 5K Run/Walk and Family Day are proceeding as planned on Sunday, April 21. As we come together for this weekend’s events, we will honor those killed in the Boston attacks, pray for the families of the victims, stand in solidarity with the injured, and show that we are still united.”
The National September 11 Memorial will hold a 9/11 Memorial Run/Walk and Family Day on Sunday, April 21, 2013. Details can be found here.
You may register online from January 25, 2013 – April 18, 2013. There will be no registration allowed on race day. Space is limited; please register early. To register, please click here.
From January 25, 2013 until March 31, 2013, the entry fee is $35.00 for adults and $20.00 for children ages 13 to 16. From April 1, 2013-April 18, 2013, the entry fee is $40.00 for adults and $25.00 for children ages 13 to 16. There is no fee for children ages 12 and under, but they must be registered.
100% of proceeds raised will support the National September 11 Memorial & Museum.

Family Day will be held on Vesey Street, between Church Street and Broadway, from 9:30am to 3:00pm. This free event will include fun family activities and is open to the general public. Registration is not required for Family Day activities.
