9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Run of Remembrance – Fort Meade, MD

Fort Meade’s annual Run of Remembrance will take place on Friday, September 12, 2014, at 6:30am at McGlachlin Parade Field.
1,800 Fort George G. Meade service members and civilians from 22 units will participate in the fifth annual Fort Meade Run of Remembrance, which commemorates the 13th anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks.
The three-mile esprit de corps formation run will snake throughout the installation as family members line the streets to encourage the runners. This large formation will include members from every branch of service who will call cadence as motivation as they complete this traditional installation event.
