Robert J. Darling, Author of “24 Hours Inside the President’s Bunker, 9/11/01: The White House” to Speak in Reston, VA

Robert J. Darling, Lieutenant Colonel, United States Marine Corps (Ret.) will be the keynote speaker at the US Conference of the ARM Global Conference in Reston, Virginia on Wednesday September 19, 2018 and Thursday, September 20, 2018. The ARM Global Conference will continue at London’s Dorchester Hotel on October 8, 2018 and concludes in Sydney on November 1, 2018.
Lt. Col. Darling’s career includes piloting attack helicopters during Operation Desert Storm, and he was a presidential pilot with Marine Helicopter Squadron One, working with the White House Military Office, Airlift Operations Department. During this posting, on September 11, 2001, Lt. Col. Darling found himself in the Presidential bunker during the attacks.
His book, 24 Hours Inside the President’s Bunker, 9/11/01: The White House, chronicles this experience.
