Make checks payable to the Robert Curatolo Fund and send it to the Fund’s address below.
The $5,000 Robert Curatolo Scholarship is awarded annually to a Staten Island high school senior who is in good academic standing, plays baseball or softball and whose parent or guardian is an NYPD or Port Authority police officer, or an FDNY firefighter (active-duty or retired).
FDNY Firefighter Robert Curatolo was killed in the terrorist attacks of 9/11, while attempting to save lives. He was the youngest of four brothers, all of whom are either police officers or firefighters. He was 31 and had been married for three weeks when he was killed.
