9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Join Rick’s Place for a Red Sox party to celebrate the beginning of baseball season on Thursday, April 4, 2019, from 2:30pm until 5:00pm at Pioneer Valley Financial Group.
Play the Red Sox virtual reality Home Run Challenge and hit a homer out of Fenway Park, take photos with Wally and Tessie (from 3:30-4:30pm) and enjoy hot dogs, popcorn and other ballpark snacks.
Rick’s Place is a center for bereaved children and their families. It is named for Eric “Rick” Thorpe, a Ludlow native who was killed in the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001.
