November 8, 2018 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Please drop by Rick’s Place Open House on Thursday, November 8, 2018 between 5:30pm and 7:30pm to visit their beautiful new space.

Rick’s Place was established as a non-profit organization in 2007. Their mission is to offer young people and their families support as they grieve the death of a significant caregiver or sibling.  All of the services at Rick’s Place are free of charge.  Last year, Rick’s Place served more than three hundred participants from twelve cities and towns in the Pioneer Valley and northern CT.

Rick’s Place was named for Eric “Rick” Thorpe, who was killed in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 while working as a top salesman at Keefe, Bruyette & Woods in Tower 2 of the World Trade Center. Rick was 35, a new father, an athlete, and a man who loved people and did charity work.
