9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Rick’s Place Golf Classic (formerly the Rick Thorpe Memorial Golf Tournament)

The 17th annual Rick’s Place Golf Classic will take place on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at the Country Club of Wilbraham. There will be a hole-in-one contest (win a brand new car), three closest to the pin contests, and women’s and men’s longest drive competitions.
Only 136 slots are available. To ensure your place, please reserve early. The cost for everything – golf, cart, lunch, dinner and winners’ prizes — is $150.00. Rick Thorpe — a loved husband, father, brother and son — was killed during the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 in Tower Two of the World Trade Center. Rick’s Place honors him by supporting grieving children and their families.
Through facilitated peer support groups, Rick’s Place offers grieving children and their caregivers a safe place to remember their loved ones, honor their memories, and avoid the sense of isolation that such a loss can produce.
