9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Remembrance Service and Commemorative Flags – White Plains, NY

The Recreation and Parks Department of White Plains will host a remembrance service at Liberty Park on Lake Street on Thursday, September 11, 2014 at 8:00am.
The ceremony will include the raising of a flag flown overseas during Operation Freedom, the laying of a wreath, prayer and the reading of a poem.
In addition, in honor of the six people from White Plains murdered during the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, six flags will fly from City Hall on the 11th.
