9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Remembrance Ceremony, Newtown, CT

The public is invited to a 9/11 remembrance Tuesday at 8:00am at the 9/11 memorial of six maple trees with the American flag painted on them on Dodgingtown Road on the Bethel-Newtown border.
The memorial was painted by David Merrill, and is located on the property of Howard Lasher. It was spray-painted by vandals last year, but has been restored.
