9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Remembrance Ceremony & Day of Service, Greenville, SC

September 11, 2013

Habitat Greenville will hold a remembrance ceremony on September 11, 2013 at the Gazebo on the Swamp Rabbit Trail on Main Street in Travelers Rest. The ceremony, which will begin at 8:30am, will commemorate the sacrifice and loss of victims of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.

The event is part of Habitat for Humanity International’s nationwide day of service and remembrance. The public is invited to participate by giving a day of volunteer service to construct the foundation of two Habitat homes being constructed at 213 and 217 Gray Street in Travelers Rest beginning at 9:30am. Lunch will be provided for volunteers who fulfill a day of service activity ending at 4:30pm.
