9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. A remembrance ceremony and candlelight vigil will be held in Bay Ridge at the September 11th Memorial at the American Veterans Memorial Pier/69th Street Pier at 7:30pm on Tuesday, September 11, 2018.
The pier’s view of the skyline of lower Manhattan and the Statue of Liberty will be the backdrop to a moment of silence and a 21-gun salute.
