Relay for Life for the American Cancer Society
May 15, 2015 @ 5:00 am
The American Cancer Society will hold a Relay for Life event at the South Street Seaport from Friday, May 15, 2015 at 5:00pm to Saturday, May 16, 2015 at 5:00am.
Cancer is ravaging the September 11th community – many rescue and recovery workers are sick with cancer from their work at the World Trade Center after the 9/11 attacks. A team of FDNY firefighters will participate in the Relay on the 15th. To support the FDNY team, please click here.
Funds raised will go to the American Cancer Society for research and many special programs that assist those with the disease.
Stop by, walk, camp out, or participate in a variety of activities or simply cheer on the teams
