9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Red Bandanna Run – Boston, MA
October 14, 2017 @ 7:30 am - 1:00 pm
The Red Bandanna Run, an annual 5-K in honor of Boston College alumnus Welles Remy Crowther will take place this year on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at Boston College.
Race day registration and check-in will take place from 7:15am until 8:15am at Lyons Dining Hall on the Main Campus. Please note, no one may register or check-in after 8:15am.
Participants will gather at 8:30am for a pre-race welcome from the family of Welles Crowther, and the Red Bandanna Run will begin at 9:00am by the Gasson Hall eagle.

Welles Remy Crowther was 24 when he was killed in the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001 while working as an equities trader at Sandler O’Neill and Partners. He saved several people in the South Tower, repeatedly going upstairs to help others.
