9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Red Bandanna Classic

The third annual Red Bandanna Classic, honoring Welles Remy Crowther will be held on Thursday, October 3, 2013. The schedule for the day begins with registration and continental breakfast at 9:30am. The driving range also opens at 9:30am. The shotgun start will be at 11:00am. Cash bar opens at 3:00pm and the barbeque, silent auction and awards ceremony begin at 4:00pm.
Golf will be played in a 4-person scramble format.
The fee to golf is $250.00 for 1 golfer and $1,000.00 for a foursome. All funds will benefit the Welles Remy Crowther Charitable Trust. Welles Remy Crowther, 24, also known as the Man in the Red Bandanna, saved lives in Tower 2 of the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. He was a broker with Sandler O’Neill who dreamed of joining the FDNY. He is the only person to be posthumously made an honorary FDNY firefighter.
