9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Procession to honor former Morrow County, OR Undersheriff Steve Myren, DMAT

A procession of emergency services vehicles honoring former Morrow County (Oregon) undersheriff Steve Myren is planned for Sunday, February 14, 2021. Steve Myren died on February 1, 2021. He spent time at the World Trade Center recovery efforts as part of DMAT.
Processions will begin at the Heppner and the Ione fire halls at 10:00am, and at A.C. Houghton Elementary School in Irrigon at 10:30 a.m., with groups from all Morrow County cities converging at Wilson Lane and Bombing Range Road in Boardman about 11:00am. From there, the entire procession will proceed to the Boardman Marina.
