Presentation of the Posse Award and Rebounders Reception

Fordham Basketball, Fordham University’s Maroon Club and the Fordham Rebounders Club will hold their annual Rebounders Reception and the presentation of the Posse Award on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at 12:30pm at Dagger John’s in the Bronx.
Given in the memory of Michael J. “Posse” Armstrong, FCRH ’90, the Posse Award goes each year to a member of the Fordham basketball community who upholds the traditions and sentiments of a Fordham basketball supporter. This year’s recipient is Richard Conta, FCRH ’68.
Michael J. Armstrong, an alumnus of Fordham, was killed in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 while a vice president with Cantor Fitzgerald. He was engaged to be married and always the center of a group of close friends. He was 34.
