9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Posse Award Honoring Michael J. Armstrong and Salute to Heroes

The Michael J. Armstrong Memorial Foundation’s annual Posse Award presentation and Fordham’s Salute to Heroes basketball game will both be held on Saturday, February 9, 2019.
The day will begin at 12:30pm with the presentation of the Posse Award at the Rebounders Club reception at Dagger John’s. The Posse Award honors Michael J. “Posse” Armstrong, who was killed in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 while working at Cantor Fitzgerald. The Posse Award is presented annually to a Fordham basketball fan who exhibits the same spirit, loyalty, and friendship as Michael Armstrong, FCRH ’90. This year’s Posse Award honoree is Mike Fitzgerald.
At 2:00pm, at the Rose Hill Gym the Fordham Rams will face Duquesne, and the Salute to Heroes will take place immediately before the tip-off. The Salute to Heroes, which was established as the Liberty Cup football game, honors those killed in the terrorist attacks of 9/11 and those firefighters, EMS personnel, police officers, and service members affected by the attacks.
Current Rebounders and Maroon Club members will receive 2 free drink tickets.
