9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. PO Thomas Gorman Memorial Blood Drive

The annual PO Thomas Gorman Memorial Blood Drive will be held throughout the month of December at New Jersey’s Somerset Medical Center.
The blood drive honors Port Authority Police Officer Thomas Gorman, who was murdered by terrorists while responding to the attacks on the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. PO Gorman was a regular blood donor whose final blood donation was on September 10, 2001.
Because his birthday was in December, Somerset Medical Center and his mother, Theresa, hold the annual blood drive to honor his memory.
