9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. PO Mark Ellis Memorial Walk

The annual Mark Ellis Memorial Walk will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Farmingdale State College’s Campus Center. Registration begins at 9:00am and the walk will begin at 10:00am.
Walkers will proceed from the Campus Center to the FSC 9/11 memorial for a moment of reflection before the walk begins, walk around the campus, and end up back at the Campus Center where there will be light refreshments.
The Mark Ellis Memorial Walk is held each year to honor Farmingdale State College Criminal Justice Department alumnus Mark J. Ellis, an NYPD police officer who was killed in the terrorist attack on September 11, 2001.
The cost to walk is a donation of at least $10.00. Proceeds raised from the walk fund the Mark Ellis scholarship that assists a Farmingdale State College Criminal Justice Department student each year.
