9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Pleasantville Blood Drive

Pleasantville’s Emanuel Lutheran Church in is sponsoring a blood drive on Saturday, January 14, 2017 from 9:00am until 3:00pm at the church.
The blood emergency that was declared on November 28, 2016, by the NY Blood Center is still in effect, made worse by the shortage of donors and the increase in accidents around the holidays. Currently, NY’s reserve supplies of blood and blood products are near exhaustion. This would be catastrophic if a large-scale emergency or major storm occurs.
Both whole blood and red cells units will be collected from qualifying candidates. All donors are welcome.
