9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Play “Sweet Lorraine” World Pancreatic Day virtual benefit

There will be an online theatrical benefit to mark World Pancreatic Cancer Day on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at 7:00pm. Scenes from the play Sweet Lorraine by Rajendra Ramoon Maharaj and Adam Mace will benefit Stand up to Cancer and the Equity in the Arts and Culture Committee of the Brooklyn NAACP. After the 45-minute play, a talkback will be held at 8:00pm.

The play tells the story of playwright Lorraine Hansbury, who died of pancreatic cancer, and the writer James Baldwin.Valisia LeKae will play Hansbury and Daniel Watts will play James Baldwin.
