9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. “Patriot Sunday” Free Dinners and Music for First Responders – Jefferson City, MO

Jefferson City, Missouri’s Operation Bugle Boy and American Legion Post 5 will hold their annual dinner, Patriot Sunday 2019, on Sunday, September 8, 2019 from 4:00pm-7:00pm. The event provides a complimentary chicken dinner with side dishes for active-duty Jefferson City-area firefighters, emergency medical services personnel, and law enforcement officers and their families.
The live music will performed by retired emergency personnel.
Five hundred dinners have been donated. Eighteen dinners were sponsored by David and Peggy Beamer, parents of United Flight 93 hero Todd Beamer. Each year, the Beamers sponsor one ticket for each year since their son was killed in the terrorist attacks of 2001.
Those who would like tickets are asked to pick them up at Legends Bank in Jefferson City. Tickets will be available until Friday, September 6, 2019 or until the supply is gone.
