9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Patriot Ride 2012 – Darlington, MD to Parkville, MD

Motorcyclers will gather in Darlington on Saturday, September 8, 2012 for the Patriot Ride in remembrance of the 11th anniversary of the September 11th terrorist attacks.
Patriot Ride 2012 will help raise money for the Flight 93 Memorial in Pennsylvania.
Riders will gather at Chesapeake Harley Davidson in Darlington at 8:00am and will take part in six moments of silence beginning at 8:46am, the time the first plane struck the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001.
Riders will depart at 11:30am.
The Honorary Ride Captain is Detective Kenny Nacke, whose older brother, Joseph Nacke III, was a passenger on United Flight 93.
The ride will travel south on Route 1 throughHarfordCountyto Fallston, where it will make a right onto Route 147 (Harford Road). Riders will then travel south into Baltimore County, ending in Parkville, where they will ride through the Path of Honor – American flags set along Putty Hill Avenue between Harford and Old Harford Roads to honor every person killed in the terrorist attacks. Flags will be set up on Friday morning.
The Ride will end at McAvoy’s in Parkville.
Between 400 and 600 motorcyclists are expected to participate, possibly more.
Area residents are encouraged to support the riders along the route from 11:30am – 12:30pm.
Event proceeds also benefit the Metro Burn Fund. Registration fees, event schedules and other information are available online.
