Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. PanCan, the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, will host COVID-19 Updates for Pancreatic Cancer Patients, a panel discussion with pancreatic cancer research experts on Thursday, February 18, 2021 at 12:30pm ET.
Some of the topics covered will be what you should know about the new coronavirus vaccines; whether new strains change the current guidance for patients; whether it’s safe to get the vaccines if you’re a patient in treatment; and the latest in pancreatic cancer care during the pandemic.
