9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Pan African Peter C. Alderman Conference

The seventh annual Pan African Peter C. Alderman Conference will be held on July 21-24, 2014 at Mbarara University in Mbarara, Uganda. This year’s theme will be Trauma and Community Mental Health.
There are no fees to attend the conference, which is open to all African health professionals working in the area of psychotrauma consequent to armed conflict. To register, please click here.
The Peter C. Alderman Foundation promotes mental health by training indigenous health care workers in war-torn countries or those plagued by terrorism. Peter C. Alderman was 25 and attending a conference at Windows on the World when the World Trade Center was attacked by terrorists on September 11, 2001.
