9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Olympia Fields unveils 9/11 steel

There will be an unveiling ceremony to display steel from the World Trade Center at the village hall in Olympia Fields at 7:00pm Monday, August 27, 2012. The steel will become Olympia Fields’ memorial to the victims of the terrorist attacks of 2001.
Susan Ormsby designed the memorial which will be in the lobby of the village hall.
