9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. NYPD/US Navy Remembrance Day Ceremony

The New York City Police Department U.S. Navy Association will conduct its annual Remembrance Day Ceremony at 11:00am on Friday, October 19, 2012 at One Police Plaza in Manhattan.
The ceremony is open to all veterans and their families. The event is held to pay tribute to U.S. veterans who were deployed to Afghanistan and Iraq. The guest speaker will be Rear Admiral Sean Buckwell.
Detective Kevin Herlihy, who was wounded in the line of duty, will be honored with the Stephen Driscoll Award at the service. Stephen Driscoll was killed in the line of duty at the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001.
