9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. NYPD With Arms Wide Open Dinner Dance

The new charity for NYPD personnel with special needs children, With Arms Wide Open, will hold their first annual dinner dance on Thursday, May 4, 2017. The evening begins with a champagne reception at 6:30pm, with dinner and dancing to follow from 7:00pm to 11:00pm.
The event will take place at Antun’s of Queens. Music will be provided by the NYPD Emerald Society Pipes and Drums, the NYPD Jazz Ensemble and a live DJ.
The evening’s honorees are Detective Kevin Schroeder and Stevie Van Zandt. The Steven McDonald Memorial Scholarship will be presented by his widow Patti McDonald and his son, Connor McDonald.
