Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. National 9/11 Memorial Museum Community Evening – NY, NY

The National September 11th Memorial Museum invites members of the 9/11 community to join them on Tuesday, September 10, 2019, from 4:00pm until 8:00pm, the 9/11 Memorial Museum will be reserved for 9/11 and 2/26/93 family members, family members of individuals who are sick or who have died from 9/11-related illnesses, 9/11 rescue and recovery workers, active duty first responders, 9/11 survivors, active-duty military and veterans, lower Manhattan residents and business owners, and active and retired flight crew members.
This year’s Community Evening will feature an information session with the Special Master of the September 11th Victim Compensation Fund (VCF) about who qualifies for compensation, what types of compensation are available, and how to register and file a claim. Held in the Museum’s Education Center, these 30-minute sessions at 5:30pm and 6:00pm will provide an informal opportunity to learn more about this important resource for the 9/11 community. Space is limited, so please RSVP to rsvp@911memorial.org with your name, number of guests and the time of the session you plan to attend.
You are also invited to visit the 9/11 Memorial Glade, a tranquil space on the 9/11 Memorial plaza dedicated on May 30, 2019, in honor of all who are suffering or have died from 9/11-related illnesses.

Reservations for this year’s Community Evening are available on a first-come, first-served basis. A limited number of walk-up tickets will be available the day of for 9/11 community members at the Museum ticket windows. Photo identification may be required to verify your selected affiliation.
