9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Monmouth County Remembrance Ceremony – Atlantic Highlands, NJ

On Monday, September 11, 2017 at 8:00am, the Monmouth County Park System will host a Remembrance Ceremony at Monmouth County’s 9/11 Memorial at Mount Mitchill in Atlantic Highlands. The public is welcome.
Music will be provided by Jessica Wong and the Pipes and Drums of the Atlantic Watch. The Monmouth County Sheriff’s Honor Guard will also take part in the ceremony.
The ceremony will be held rain or shine.
Mount Mitchill Scenic Overlook’s hours will be extended for the anniversary. The site will be open until 11:00pm on Saturday, September 9, 2017 through Monday, September 11, 2017 to provide opportunities for people to pay their respects at the Memorial.
147 Monmouth County residents were murdered in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.
